Bradford African Community

About us

For over 6 years, we have proudly supported refugees, sanctuary seekers, migrants, and other newly arrived individuals and families who have been given a chance to come to Bradford and West Yorkshire to make Bradford their home and begin a new chapter in their lives. Many have fled persecution, conflict, violence, and humanitarian crisis, while others have come to the UK seeking safety and stability.

We support people from across the world; including Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Mali, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Iraq, Tanzania, China, Vietnam, Libya, Slovakia Nigeria, Somalia, Djibout, Chad, Morocco, Gambia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Kuwait, Kenya, Cameroon, Algeria, Cote D’Ivoire, Bangladesh, Yemen and South Sudan.

Starting a new life in the UK is filled with Hope, but for many refugees, the journey to integration is often met with significant challenges.
